A very nice sound on it for the song part , I like seeing more video in it and if using still photos put the move look on them so they look like video and not just a photo. Just a tip take your cam with you at all time and build a file full of 5 to 8 sec clips of thing that your use or might for a song for you next one . There so many things around you that will make nice fill 2 to 3 sec clips to put in at the right parts to the song . But I am still learning too no a lot of it too and still trying to get it just right like you see on TV now days if you know what I mean . Thank for asking me to be here as we all need to learn off each other new things and ways to do things in video to stay on top .

Great comment Joe & happy you like the sound. It seems we always forget to bring the camera along & even when we do remember we are a bit affraid because it's a costly item to replace. Ours is powered with a firewire , don't know if your familiar with that technology but it has worked well for us. We have spoken to many about our production & have always been told to keep everything to amatuer but we have been wanting to use more with the effects . Looking forward to some great videos in 2014 & hope to build some great productions soon .

Yes I know what you mean too about the cost of them and being on the go , With new one out now days I got two Nikons Coolpix Full HD movie ones I can put on my belt and have along with me every where now day. And you would not believe how good the HD is and so clear too there great and the low cost helps if you loose one or drop it . When they came out with the Wi - ones  got a deal on them .

I just got Avid Studio and have Pinnacle Studio and both work to gather as well in the same computer too . And there a sound studio in it too that works nice as well if just doing a live playing or singing shot .

Joe can you use the firewire for the video stream with the coolpix , by using the usb connection .. it may be limited to pictures or slides only . Please let us know . Would really like to use studio 10 because it has animated characters .. really like all of them as long as it is firewire equiped

you can use a USB  cable or put the 8 gig card in your computer too and pull of it that way too . I do have some test video on you tube too after I got it just to see what it do .

I have had the coolpix for quite a long time but haven't tried it yet . We are gonna give it a try on a few of our new videos after this round . You will be the first to hear about what kinda production you can make with this one Joe . We are very excited to give it a shot , we love mixing with videos instead of slides but still enjoy mixing the 2 together & get a good production at the end
