I'm running out of ways to say how cool the people of the South are. They're friendly, unpretentious, caring - and all those other qualities were were supposed to have - until we became jaded. These two - Dwayne and Shelia - are at the top of the list. She had a birthday party at Dwayne's automotive repair garage and (I've become my father: "Billy, can you come - and bring your guitar!") There was catfish and hush puppies. Not being adventurous when it comes to food, I had the cheeseburgers. People in bib overalls (who let me rib them without punching me - LOL). There was a 400 pound hog out back, which I didn't venture to see - I'm such a city boy! The way we all change the week before Christmas and become nice people, that's what these folks are 365 days a tear. Even though I'm just "passing thru", everyone here leaves their mark on me, and I'm better for it. All My Best, Billy Kay
