Michigan singer songwriter Chas Burtchett first gained acclaim with his song Cristy's Song. The anthem which was inspired by and dedicated to his younger sister Cristy is a tribute to those living with autism.Chas has performed throughout the state at many festivals and events including SE Michigan Walk Now for Autism Speaks where he is asked to return to play annually, to spread and share his message through Music. He has opened for country music artist Hunter Hayes, Christian Recording Artist Remedy drive and headlined such venues as Michigan State University's Autism Night, Ford Field , progressive field , soldier field , and the rock in roll hall of fame . He has been featured on several television and radio stations including Traverse City's 29 & 8 news and WJR 760 AM's Ready, Set, Go: All Things Autism.Chas gained attention of nationally known producer Dave Carlock who worked with him to produce a single version of Cristy's Song and album. His newest project " perceptions" features American idol alum Taylor Walls and Chas in a well written arrangement by an award wining songwriting crew was released at hit # 12 on the Itunes Country Charts.
