- Chelsea Rae, 27 Country Pop Singer and Songwriter from Peoria, Illinois. I started writing songs when I was 12 years old and started guitar lessons when I was 15. I loved music since I could understand words. It wasn't just one genre I loved, I loved all genres of music and actually started out singing Rap when I was younger. Carrie Underwood is my biggest influence in music. Her strength, her poise, the way she performs she is one of my inspirations. I moved to Nashville in 2012 to pursue my music career. Started getting with co-writers and writing a lot of songs learning about the town and playing shows and writer rounds. I joined TSAI Nashville and NSAI in 2014. . Released my first EP Revival May 4, 2018 and 3 months later I signed a publishing deal with Motor Scout Music based out in Philadelphia. I am nominated for Pop-Country Genre Categories (Female Artist Of The Year) (Female Vocalist Of The Year) and (Song Of The Year for my song Every Storm) for the 2019 Josie Music Awards. I feel really fortunate and blessed for all the success I have had so far as an artist.
