Tell us about yourself:: With songs like, “I’ll Dip The Moon In Chocolate”, “Picnic At Midnight”, and “Slow Dance” in Don Lawson’s songwriting catalog, it’s not hard to tell that he is a romanic. “Slow Dance” is not quite what you’d expect. It’s a playful tune that rocks and gets the listener to remember what it’s like to ask your partner to - pay attention! - “Slow this thing down, give me a kiss. Slow this thing down, get closer than this!”

Don writes songs that have a retro sound, a current feel, and a cool vibe. For fans of Love & Theft, Dan & Shay, Brett Eldredge, Keith Urban & Pitbull (Just seeing if you were paying attention.)

A musician since the age of 12 and a professional musician for years, Don is writing and recording heartfelt, playful Country music that you will remember and will be able to sing with immediately.
