Tell us about yourself:: I started singing in public at 4 singing with my family, I began guitar at 9, practicing with a real established band, "The Blue Invaders", at age 10. Played 3 piece bands with my brother and friend til I left home at 18. Played private functions, Moose Lodges, Country Clubs bars and dives until 1980. Toured the East Coast playing on the road for frats and clubs in 1981. Joined a heavy metal band called Rockacy, moved to Memphis TN USA and landed many gigs in the surrounding areas. In 1982, ROCKACY Toured Germany/Azores Islands for theDOD USO .Have played many many different venues since then. Was more recently in a cover band called THE PAPAROXY playing classic and modern rock. Played in the Wilmington NC USA during the summer and fall of 2016 with a top 40 Rock band. Also played various acoustic shows.
Meanwhile, I write and record a variety of songs and place them on www.Reverbnation.com/keithbrooks, fandalism.com and also submit some radio stations and record companies.
Currently enjoying hearing a cd I have been involved with from the beginning of its birth. It is by D*** Barnes, Carolina Country Living. Its debut song reached number one in Europe and other songs are still charting and recently still ranked.
Personally in March, I released XQz Me (excuse me) and I am working on 2 hard rock CDs, a country cd, and an easy listening instrumental cd and working on all of them being released very soon. In October 2017 I signed on with Dunn-Lee Records. Hopefully this will be a nice long ride in which I can continue my writing and recording and let Dunn -Lee records do their thing
