Tell us about yourself:: Hey Ya'll !!! Just a quick Bio, so ya'll can get to know me. As a child, I was sort of born right in the Music Industry. My Father played Guitar for Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Eddy Fukano, and several other up coming artists as I was still learning to walk and talk. Still, to this day, I hear the stories of how Tiny Moore taught him several licks and how Buck made him audition for 4 hours before he played for him in Bakersfield..........

First instrument, a set of drums for Christmas at 5 years old.........."bet they regretted that one"........LOL Picked up the Acoustic at 8 and was taught 3 chords and off I went !!! At 16, while attending a Talent Contest in Sacramento, California that my sister (Sherry Gibson Breckenridge) sang at and won, I decided to give it a try and won myself. 1st time on T.V., I was skeered to death, but, when the 2 of us won together (Pics in my photos) nerves were gone. Learned to play Bass Guitar and played with a Rock Band for a couple years until joining my first Country Band at 19. Since then, been pickin', singin', writin', and recordin' all over the U.S. from the smallest to the biggest Venues. I now play Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Banjo, Harmonica....seems any instrument I pick up, I can play.

I am in the process of copywriting all my Originals and getting permission for 2 re-makes for my Album, " Rising To The Stars " to be recorded through Omnisound Studios. My writing skills vary from: Traditional, Today's Country, and Country/Pop Crossover. The Title Song and Album title " Rising To The Stars " (also to be released as a Video, including taping at Buck Owens Palace in Bakersfield) sums up my Career and sends out a " powerful and inspirational " message for everyone not to give up on their hopes and dreams !!! The Album also includes: " Thanks To You My Friend ", ( a Ballad about a Friend I lost too young and the desire to meet them in Heaven again someday); " You Don't Have To Be My Child To Be My Daughter ", (a duet between a step daughter and step father about unconditional Love); " Fallen Angel ", ( a mid-tempo song about a man finding a woman down on her luck); " Sleep With The Angels ", ( about almost losing my Daughter and her Son when he was born prematurely) ........Also, trying to get permission to re-make " That's The Way Love Goes " as a tribute to Merle Haggard (whom I was highly influenced by) and my Father, Kenny Tidwell (who has always been my inspiration, and also had the honor and pleasure to play with him).

Just a bit about me, but, before I go........a Fan once posted to me that " Country Music is depressing "............My response was this !!! " I can't answer for everyone, but, my perspective is this : " I write from my heart from experiences in my own life and those that surround me, and if my songs make you cry, or inspire your heart, I served my purpose because I sing them with the emotion that came from the deepest part of mine " !!!

I am " honored and proud " to be a member of "NASHVILLE UNIVERSE" and lastly, I want to personally Thank each and every single Family Member, Friend, and Fan of mine that has stuck by me through thick and thin...........Ya'll Are Awesome and I Love You and I would be "nothing" without you !!!!!!!!!..................With all my Love and Sincerity, Always and Forever, ^j^ ^j^ ^j^ Kenny Dale Angel ^j^ ^j^ ^j^
