Tell us about yourself:: Just like her album “Dream” Albemarle, N.C native Kristy Lynn is following her dreams. Music has always been a part of her life, and she has always been a hard worker. When she puts her mind to completing a goal, she does not give up. The same goes for her dreams. Since the age of nine when she first started singing, Kristy has dreamed of becoming a professional Country singer. Kristy has appeared on Nashville Spotlight T.V show, where she was the host. Though Kristy is determined to make her dreams come true, there was a point in her life where she made the decision to stop singing, but she says that was because she did not know how to make her dreams a reality. “There’s been many times that I wanted to give up but my fans kept me dreaming. I want to see my dreams come true, but at times I just don’t know how to do that,” Kristy said, adding that during this period, she tried out for Fox’s hit show American Idol, And Fox’s hit TV show, X-Factor where she made first round online audition in 2013. Kristy did have the honor to attend a launch party in Mississippi for the Ladies of County Music magazine. “It was an honor to get to participate in this event,” Kristy said, adding that this was one of her most memorable events. Kristy has also sang at the Nashville Palace in Nashville TN. To make sure that she is not sitting by idly waiting for her dreams to come to life, she has been performing through karaoke , benefits, weddings, fairs, competitions, also was apart of the ladies of country music charlotte music awards, she has been in top 10 for the Texaco Country Showdown and many more similar events. But she says this is nothing like performing live with a band. On Sept 12, 2010 Kristy had the opportunity to take her singing to the next level by creating her first music video, “If People Never Dreamed.” The video was a success on both Myspace with over 15,000 views and over 24,913 views on YouTube. “I hope that this music video will help to get my name out there and to give more of a visual perspective of who I am and what kind of music I’m getting across to listeners and fans,” Kristy said. “I know one thing; I love people, having fun, music and most of all, I love to sing. I won’t give up as long as I am here on this earth. I believe being on stage is where I belong.”
