Liddy Clark is a singer/songwriter who delivers a beautifully nuanced, indie-pop-inspired take on country music. With her powerful vocals and radiant stage presence, the 20-year-old artist has performed at iconic venues like the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, opened for artists like Scotty McCreery, Joe Nichols and private VIP rooms for Chris Stapleton, Jake Owen, and amassed a passionate fanbase that includes more than 500K social media followers.
On her debut EP Testing the Waters, Clark offers up fresh yet timeless songs showing the extraordinary range of her voice. The EP’s crystal-clear sound proves to be the perfect backdrop for Clark’s fearlessly honest lyrics, an element shaped by her natural gift as a storyteller.
Born in Plano, Texas, Clark grew up in Parkland, Florida, and has honed her stunning vocal command she was a little kid. With songwriting running in her family—her cousin Drew Womack authored Kenny Chesney’s #1 smash “She’s Got It All”—she started penning her own songs at 13 and soon earned support from major outlets like Radio Disney Country. Starting at age 15, Clark attended the prestigious summer programs at Berklee College of Music in Boston for three years in a row and, at age 17, earned a scholarship to the highly distinguished Five-Week Summer Performance Program. Recently selected as an iHeartRadio Digital Artist of the Month, she’s also performed at the iHeartRadio Live Sessions in New York City and the iHeartCountry Music Summit at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
Now a sophomore at the University of Southern California—where she’s a dean’s list student at the Thornton School of Music—Clark brings real-life detail to all her songs, with an ultimate mission of building a deep connection to all her listeners. “For me one of the greatest things about music is when you hear a song and it gives you a feeling of completeness—it just fits into your life in this perfect way,” she says. “My hope for my music is that it gives people that same kind of feeling.”
