Tell us about yourself:: Mariah Grace is an 18 year old Singer-Songwriter and Nashville Recording Artist. For such a sweet humble girl with a lot of personality, she has such a powerful unique voice. Mariah Grace started singing at the age of 3 and took voice lessons and private vocal coach lessons since age 5. Most people say that she was singing before she could talk. Mariah has done many musicals, talent/modeling conventions and shows, pageants, singing competitions, and everything else in between. She won Miss Massachusetts when she was little for singing and modeling. "Music has always been a huge part of my life, I don't know where I would be without it," she says. "Although I have been in many pageants and won first place in talent in many of them, from there I moved on to numerous plays and lead roles in musicals. I finally found my home in Country music." Singing has always been Mariah Grace's passion. At age sixteen she flew out to Nashville and co-wrote and recorded 3 songs with predominant Nashville producers and songwriters. Traveling back a few months after that Mariah co-wrote and recorded 4 more songs which are now out on iTunes in her EP. Mariah Grace has performed in many places, one of her favorites being The Acton Jazz Cafe in Acton, MA. She recently appeared at a Drug Awareness Benefit Concert in Westford, MA where she was asked to host the whole concert as well as make a special appearance performing her music. Growing up in a small town of close to 2,000 people, Mariah is ready for Nashville and will definitely make her mark. "It seems just like yesterday I was a little girl singing into a hairbrush, and now I am ready for the big city," Mariah says. Her goal is to inspire people through her music and hope that they can connect and relate to her music. That should not be a problem for this talented, rising country star. "The number one thing that inspires my music, is God. I am where I am today because of him. My faith and my religion inspire my music so much, as well as my life experiences. All of my songs are written from my heart." Growing up Mariah has found inspiration from all over. Her Mother has always been her role model. "I am so thankful and blessed for country music, and all the amazing country artists before me who have built the way for girls like me. Country music is an amazing family to be a part of, and I am grateful to be a part of it. Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton are my biggest inspirations for country music," Mariah Grace says. “I have learnt so much from my amazing Country artist friends, and legendary Country Artist mentors.” Says Mariah. She has received a lot of reactions and interest from music industry professionals, and has been featured on Kingsofar, a music industry watch site, and in Hot Stuff Magazine. She is currently working on new music, while doing radio interviews, and writing with Country stars on Music Row. There is much more to come from this young Country Singer.
