Tell us about yourself:: Hello, I'm Mitch Hayes, award winning singer/songwriter and national touring artist from Charlotte, North Carolina. I was voted 2016 Americana/Folk Artist of The Year, Queen City Awards. I was a finalist in two categories in the 2017 LA Music Critic Awards. I've been interviewed and reviewed in No Depression, Alternate Root, Indie Pulse and Nashville Blues Society.

I have two CD's to my credit, "My Reflection" 2014 and "Heroes" 2016. Two of my songs made the FMQB AAA, AC top 100 chart, "All Fall Down" peaking at #23 and "Look At You" Peaking at #40. All Fall Down was submitted for Grammy consideration.

On a personal note, I'm a retired Healthcare Professional, 43 years in Pediatric Respiratory Therapy. I'm also a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in 2011 with throat cancer, and was successfully treated. Thanks to God and an amazing medical team, I'm alive and doing the thing I believe I was put on earth to do, write and perform my songs. I tour and sing with my amazingly talented daughter. I suppose you could say when life handed me a lemon, I took it and made lemonade.
