I worked for the late Jeff Walker at Aristo Media from 1995-2001, promoting country music to radio and video. We were subcontracted by all Labels in Nashville. During the same time frame, I was contracted by the Country Radio Broadcasters to oversee the logistics of the CRS (Country Radio Seminar) show each year, before the CMA took over the CRS show. I worked closely with David DeBolt, who oversaw the operations of the CRS shows.
Prior to working on Music Row for Aristo Media, I acquired my B/S degree in studio recording technology/audio engineering from Middle Tennessee State University.
In 2001, there was a huge downsizing in the music industry, hitting Music Row in Nashville very hard, due to the advent and utilization of the internet by the public for recording, promotion, booking, management, etc, all from the home. I was a casualty of that downsizing, never able to re-enter the music industry. I relocated back to my home state of Arkansas in 2009. Since relocating, I started my own artist management business on Facebook, called Corner Stone Artist Management. It's a small business for now. I hope to grow into a reputable business.
