Tell us about yourself:: Im a Scottish Poet and Songwriter,living in Jacksonville Florida.I write country songs, pop, and others.As a child I could not avoid music.My Father was a Fitter engineer at Rolls Royce In Hillington Glasgow Scotland.My Mother reared us seven Kids,she was a Jazzy Blues type singer.My Dads biggest Dream was to write the ultimate song and make it in the Music industry.He was a great lyricist and song writer,and I stand in his shoes now continuing the journey.He never set foot in the USA untill the early Nineties,Yet his songs were of a Cowboy country nature,and,could reach into City living in poverty mode.I write my songs hoping some day to hear other artists, Like and enjoy recording them.Im a million miles from being Tom Jones as a singer,But i will try like heck to put the message out to the best of my ability.I used to laugh and muse at my Dad, as he would get frustrated when writing songs,trying to reach a note,he would always say damm it I wish I could sing hehehe.and that would be followed by" ive got Meat to sell but nobody to cook and eat it".I have Christmas songs which were left to me by him.And I intend Putting them out there this Xmas coming up.I have produced them as I feel they should be,Bearing in mind that they came from a man who couldn,t carry a tune in a bucket, and only knew two and a half chords on Guitar,i produced them as best i could.There is however one thing I must Add My father knew his note Placement,and if you sang it wrong you were scoffed at.Its a funny thing that really,ive noticed that many great tunes and songs , came from folks like my Dad,and im blessed to have his aura.Thanks for reading this.
