- Theresa is a Country recording artist originally from Denmark, S.C. She started singing and performing when she was 9 years of age. At age 15 she began writing poetry. In 1990 her and her younger sister co- wrote the lyrics to an original entitled "Leaving Me For Her." . Around 1992 she wrote her next song, entitled, "Saying I Love You." In 1998 Theresa hit a songwriting streak which is when "It Takes One To Know One" "Straight Up," "Amy," and many, many others were created.
