Bobby Ray Bittle to Participate in Country for a Cause Project
Bobby Ray Bittle was born the son of a preacher man in Black Mountain, NC. He learned early on to appreciate music. It was a part of his recovery and total healing from Cancer at nine months old. He was writing his first songs by age four.

Luke Amelang brings his style of old timey country/bluegrass to Miller's every Saturday night! I play mandolin, lead guitar and sing harmony and Shawn Supra plays upright bass.
For those of you who have never been to Miller's you are in for a treat! This converted grocery/restaurant has great food and a fun down home style atmosphere. I also highly recommend seeing the Friday night band "The Howling Brothers"...these guys can really pick!

Lately I've been noticing that most crowds at the venues I've been playing would rather hear modern rock than country. Has anyone else run into this? I mean...this is Nashville for crying out loud!!! People would rather hear a band cover Garbage or Journey more than Buck Owens or Ray Price. What the #$@*!
Honestly, that little corner on lower Broad (Roberts, Laylas, etc.) is the only place where the crowd really wants country music. Pretty ironic and funny if you ask me.…Continue
