My world requires a lot of travel which means airplanes, rental cars and sitting all the time at desks.  I want to get into shape and the Nashville Universe Awards seem like a good goal!  I want to start a weekly fitness walk on Music Row to accomplish a couple of things.  First to be able to make it up my stairs with out panting!  Second to walk Music Row as it is a great way for everyone to learn where every thing is.  If a publisher calls you and says come by the office we are at 123 Music Sq you will be on time if you already know where they are.  Knowing Music Row and spending time there is always a good thing!  So consider joining me on a weekly walk and then after the walk schedule a writing session, stop by NSAI, stop by ASCAP, BMI or SESAC as you will already be there!

I don't know about you, but I've always found it difficult to get in shape. I have two extremes: pizza and beer and a gym 5 times a week. Both are not very good for the body. I'm walking a lot lately working on loosing a bit of the gut. Not thinking I'm going to look like Tim McGraw but am working on 10 lbs to drop. Push ups, sit ups and walking has been my routine. I usually park now at Studio B when I'm there on Music Row, walk for coffee, SESAC and then lunch as well. However, I'd love to do another walking tour with you. So much information and what is what and history, my brain only absorbed a portion of that.
