Tell us about yourself:: COUNTRY TO THE BONE....BUCK AUSTIN!!!

The Foothills of NC is where I took my first breath. Country Music has always been a part of my life, as well as a way of life. As a child I grew up listening to my favorite singer in the world my daddy," Thomas Austin" . I started singing when I was knee high to Little Jimmy Dickens. And cut my teeth on the records of Country legends such as, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. Through the years Country Music changed, and as Country music changed so did I, Taking with me the classic country sound and intertwining it with modern Country. Creating a mix of the two, that is the best of both worlds. I like to call it "New Classic". My first Cd is out now called "Cowboy On" which is the title cut. The songs on my Cd are written by two great song writers, Larry Migliore and Aaron Cheney. Produced by Grammy nominated Producer, Mike Bush. I am so blessed to have such talented people in my corner, on this musical journey.
