Tell us about yourself:
Hey All! I perform crystal-pure acoustic guitar/vocal originals about the simple but not easy things like kindness, compassion, understanding, catching frogs, staging manikins on the porch...good-hearted values, sung with a smile. My thinking is, every eye-twinkle can use an occasional re-charge. I'm hip-straight honest, and not shy about making friends.
I've always admired Ol'Timey; Country; Bluegrass and my guitar is especially influenced by Atkins, Harrison, Cotton, and Watson.
My first trip to Nashville was for the DIY Musician's Conference, and I meandered about until I got to Idlehours. My dollar bill is on the wall, and I had the stage to myself one fine afternoon. Fell in love with your amazing City.
I live near Boston but host a Radio-Journal “Notes from New England” that features the story and music of one new woman singer songwriter, each month, on KZUM, Lincoln in Lincoln Nebraska. How that all happened is a long story! Smiles, Colette
