"Working in a team is first and foremost about communication. If you work in a team, this is a necessary part of effective work. If all team members work as one mechanism, then such a team can do simply unimaginable things. If you have difficulties…"

Profile Information

I'm a:
Fan, Songwriter, Graphic Artist
I play:
Guitar
Tell us about yourself:
I have written close to one thousand songs. I have had approximately 65 recorded. I have had songs recorded by Peggy Sue, Sonny Wright, Margo Smith, Betty Martin, Jim Busby, Walter Weyburn, Jimmy Clark, and Melissa Lewis. Also I have had other songs recorded by some not so well known. I have heard 3 songs I wrote performed on the Grand Ole Opry and I was lucky enought to see the event many songwriters dream of.
Of the approximately 1,000 Country Songs I have written, I have heard 3 songs I wrote, performed on the Grand Ole Opry and I was lucky enought to see an event many songwriters dream of. I am also pround to say that I have hadabout 10 songs listed in Billboard Magazine's Top 100 Country Music song Charts. Three of my songs got below the number 50 in Billboard Magazine with the lowest being number 41 by Peggy Sue.
I have approx. 200 Demos that were recorded at Bradley's Barn in Nashville, TN. produced by Harold Bradley, (Owen Bradley's brother), Gene Kennedy Owner of Door Knobb Records, also produced some. Bill Goodwin of Hubert Long Talent Agency, also helped me in the seventies with some contacts. I was fortunate to have MacKay Phillips as an agent for my songs helping to get my songs recorded.

I drew cartoons for 4 of the top selling country magazines and newspapers. I remember Country Music News, Country Weekly, Country Music Life and I have had cartoons in the Wall Street Journal. I turned down an opportunity to work with a major newspaper cartoonist, who has his cartoons published in over 300 newspapers. Country music has always been my main passion.I have been fortunate to play golf with just me and Ben Peters, Who wrote "Kiss An Angel Good Morning" and many other hit songs. I have spent some time with my all time hero songwriter Tom T. Hall. He asked me to draw a large cartoon for his studio of him writing a song on paper on the back side of his guitar.which I did. I have drawn specialized Christmas Cards for other Nashville celebrities.I was lucky to have met and made some good friends in the country music industry.

In 1962, I designed a piece of jewelry that was manufactured by a major company in New York that was put in 16 cities on a market test project. It was never placed on the market due to a design problem. However the design problem was changed by another company and for the last 51 years, I have seen my design advertised in every major magazine in the United States. I was told to get a lawyer and sue, but I was young and dumb.If I told you the product, there is no doubt in my mind that you have seen it. Your wife or child may even have one.

I wrote this song last week about a love going bad.

A SONG ELVIS NEVER RECORDED.

My song plugger in Nashville told me Elvis's manager told him that Elvis heard this song and liked it. OH WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN.

My song plugger in Nashville many years ago prior to Elvis's death said Elvis's manager told him Elvis heard this song and liked it. OH, WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN.
