Wade Magee's mainstream country music stays true to the genre, keeping to the acoustics, storytelling and southern twang that is indeed a fusion of country, blues, and folk. From a party, to a breakup, to a soldier's love song, the lyrics dive deep into honest day-to-day emotions.
His newest single (due in October 2015) 'All The Way To You' is a love song written about the emotional sacrifice and overseas longing that servicemen and women go through while being away from their loved ones in service of our country. This tune is the lead single for the new LP project in production "Blurry Days/Foggy Nights" Scheduled for release late January 2016.
He is an Arkansas native who has lived in Texas for nearly fifteen years. He is a classically trained saxophonist, having taught himself guitar and percussion. Wade’s musical background is truly small-town country gospel, that was sprinkled with a little rock n’ roll as he grew, influenced by such varied acts as Elvis Presley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and George Strait.
