Tell us about yourself:: My name is Russ Ritenour. I am a pro trained musician major lead guitarist also performing on the violin, steel guitar, non pedal steel guitar,bass guitar and mandolyn. I co write periodically with friend Roy August who is the original writer of hit song FANCY FREE for The Oak Ridge Boys I have performed on stage personally with screen actress Elizabeth Taylor and performed for President Ronald Reagan. I have played lead guitar and fiddle for Michalle Twitty, Big Al Downing, Warner Mack, Lane Brody and Thom Bresh, The Reno Brothers AKA Hayseed Dixie, Fiddle player Chubby Wise, The Texas Wildcats AKA The Jimmy Dean Band and concert venues with Johnny Paycheck and Little Jimmy Dickens and others. I am available and travel often staying on the road up to 34 one nighters at a time,example. I have references and was offered a tour with Grand Ole Opry 53 year veteran Charlie Louvin previously. I play new and standard older country music and can play variety also..
