Co-written … by Martin Samuel (lyric) when in New Orleans, LA and Lisa Nemzo (music) then in Marina del Rey, CA.
Bad Ass Boots ... Americana / country-rock band of 4 gals & 1 guy from the San Francisco Bay Area, recorded and released the Louisiana song as a digital single.
Personnel ... Billie Burnor (lead vocals) + Suzanne 'Shazam' Cimone (harp / vocals) + Joyce Baker (drums) + Billie Duffey (bass) + Pat Duffey (electric & slide guitar / vocals) with Lisa Nemzo (acoustic guitar / vocals).
Max Perry … world-renowned choreographer and Godfather of line dance as we now know it, created the line dance 'Bayou Bay Boogie' especially for the song and Bob Peyre-Ferry wrote a partner dance for it.
