Tell us about yourself:: Hailing from Jarvis Ontario, Danny Thompson has been a mainstay in the Ontario club and festival circuit for years now. Working with some of the best this industry has to offer, Danny has surrounded himself with the likes of Bill Oja, Bob Cousins and more recently Paul Loggins. These professionals have guided the careers of artists like Harold MacIntyre, Giles Goddard, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and many others.

No stranger to radio, his musical reach has extended far beyond the Canadian borders with airplay in countries as England, North Ireland, Sweden, Poland, Australia, Switzerland and of course the U.S.

Currently recording his second album, under the watchful eye of Bill Watson of Nashville Trax,
Dan is extremely happy about the progress of the new project.

To quote Bill Watson: "Dan is providing excellent songwriting and a great voice, two things I don't get an opportunity to work with very often”.

With an early release in the U.S. of Miles & Miles (the first single from the new CD) the single has already positioned itself number: 2 on the top 40 up and coming Country Internet Charts by STS tracking system in the USA, and is expected to move to the main charts shortly.

As a result, Thompson is now lining up tour dates for 2016 and firming up his recording dates back in Nashville Trax, to complete the new album.
