Tell us about yourself:: At just 13 years of age, Kaitlyn Thomas is making waves in the country music industry. Her blend of country/pop appeals to teenagers who, like her are finding their feet in a grown up world. Her beautifully-crafted, award-winning songs get feet tapping and hearts racing. She will take you on a journey with her music and her strong, but angelic voice, performing and singing with a maturity far beyond her years.
From the age of 9 she has been blessed with opportunities to work with and be mentored by some of Australia's greats in Country music and has learnt to draw from her own life experiences when she writes her songs taking you on a journey in the mind of a young teenager.
She has performed in venues of all sizes, to crowds of all ages and is quickly cementing her place as an artist to watch.
Born in Melbourne, the daughter to very supportive parents, Kaitlyn began dancing and singing lessons at age of 4, but focussed on singing from around 8 and it was then she started writing her own songs.
Kaitlyn continues to wow audiences with her lively and personality driven performances, taking her audiences from laughter to tears in one fleeting moment. She draws her audience to her and makes you feel welcomed.
There is a lot to hear from this talented teenager and there is a lot more to come.
