Kelli and Kayla Iutzwig are two sisters from Houston, Texas and founders of the country duo Wild Fire. Both sisters have been singing and performing since the age of five. Their music has a very youthful, modern country flavor with lots of energy and sincerity. Wild Fire released their self-titled, debut EP in May, 2017. The Wild Fire EP can be found on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and all the typical distribution channels. Currently, both sisters are hard at work on tracks for their first full album. They love to perform and do so on a regular basis.
Kayla and Kelli grew up in a musical family and began taking professional voice lessons at the age of six. Kelli also began drum lessons at the age of eight. Both girls play guitar and write their own original music. Both girls have performed in numerous theater and dance productions over the years, which has helped them build up a confidence and aspiration to perform their music live. They began recording cover songs and posting them to YouTube several years ago, but soon yearned to create their own original music that they could perform. Out of that longing desire, Wild Fire was born.
The sister duo is passionately pursuing their music career and pulling out all the stops to ensure their success. In June, 2016, the girls were featured on a TV show called Upbeat Kidz Rock. This show features young, talented artists under the age of 17 that write and perform their own music. The show aired on cable TV throughout 2017. In September, 2017 they filmed a number of music videos that will soon be featured on Houston's Own Country TV show, which airs locally in Houston and on cable TV.
Wild Fire has also participated for the past two years in the Houston Rodeo's "Rodeo Rockstar" singing competition. In 2016 they made it to the semifinals and in 2017 they made it to the finals. They were also interviewed by Fox News both years. In 2017 they were also finalists in the Huntsville Superstar singing competition. They have performed at numerous venues in Texas including Reliant Arena, The Kemah Boardwalk, Firehouse Saloon, Liberty Opry, Sugarland Opry, University of Houston Stadium and many more! Check out the Wild Fire YouTube channel for videos of their performance, news coverage, interviews, cover songs, vlogs and originals. Wild Fire was recently named "2017 Group of the Year" by Next Women of Country.
