Tell us about yourself:: I am no longer an active musician/publicist. I worked in the music industry for many years, both in the capacity of a musician and as a publicist for a Texas entertainment law firm. Played in bands Cleveland County Soul, Foucault's Pendulum, A Better Idea and did solo work off and on for years. The law firm I worked for represented country musician J.C. Crowley, early rock star, Arthur Brown, the band King's-X, Cinderella, Stevie Ray Vaughan, record producer Andy Johns. I managed the Texas band the Van Gogh's, and worked with many other talented musicians and related entities (on a not very important, but thrilling level.)

I currently have three country songs in the queue for publication at this time. ("Call Me When the Coast is Clear", "But You Don't Even Love Her" and "She's Just a Fool that Quotes Einstein....but That Don't Mean She's Smart" ). Musician in my youth, now a visual artist/photographer and writer that still writes songs, occasionally sings with local bands and jams whenever possible.

I am currently focusing on music-related art. I am currently working on a mosaic guitar art installation. Two down....many more to go. (My friend, the singing artist, Amy Correia, winner of Best Folk Singer-Songwriter Album Independent Music Awards for the year, 2011, owns one of my art guitars.) Here is a picture of my work:

Do You Love Nashville?

ABC is seeking paid extras for its prime time series "Nashville" currently filming in Music City.

The network is looking for all ages and all types of people including music industry types and musicians, upscale conservative business types, hip Nashville scene types and general everyday people.

Extras will be paid $8 an hour with a guarantee of eight hours plus overtime.

Filming will take place on a Monday through Friday basis. Work days generally average between 10…

A Funny Story

I used to work for an entertainment law firm. We represented a wide array of musicians, actors, writers and other people in the entertainment industry.
