Tell us about yourself:: Born Anthony Mirabile in Norfolk Virginia, he spent his early childhood, working at a family own restaurant of sorts “TONY’S HOT DOGS”. But all through his childhood, Anthony had the passion for music, but because of working at the family business 8 to 12 hours a day it left little time to pursue his dream.
BUT, the time finally came when he was able to leave the family business and journey to New York in search of his dream of music. Once he arrive the in the Big Apple he searched out, at warp speed , anywhere he could perform as well as learn and further his craft. That included being a street performer as well as watching some the legendary performers which lead him to graduating a course among the top students at the world renowned Drummers Collective School Of Music.
From that point his uphill journey would take numerous twist and turns, but he never lost sight of his dream. Every day in New York brought Anthony a new challenge and always a higher level. But as in so many things in life, just when he was about to reach the level he so richly deserved there came that dreaded phone call. He was needed back in Norfolk, Virginia by his father to help the family business. Anthony did not hesitate, packed his bags, put his dream on hold and headed back to Virginia.
Sadly Anthony’s father would pass away a short time later and Anthony would have to make a decision to stay in Virginia or return to the pursuit of his musical dreams. The decision was easy to make, He set out traveling across America once again performing in every venue and before every audience that would listen.
It was during this time Anthony would learn from and perform with some of the greats and well as become a well known insider in the entertainment industry. It would also be during this time Anthony would diversified as a musician and explore and master, singing as well as different instruments including piano, vibes and various percussion instruments to name only a few.
Today Anthony is ready to show the world ANTHONY MIRABILE., Performing with greats like 2 time Grammy winner Frank Foster, Multi million selling group “The Showmen”, Studio dates at QUAD Studios and 17 Grand Studios in Nashville, Tn., performing at The #1 venue for live entertainment (Named By Rolling Stone Magazine) “The Norva”, “The Platters”, “The Stone Pony” in Asbury Park, New Jersey, , Anthony was one of only 2 musicians that were asked to perform with the 32 member “The Creators Of The Sound Of Asbury Park. S.O.A.P. featuring only the musicians that were credited with the creation of S.O.A.P. and in 2006 and was asked back in 2008 to once again perform with the Creators of S.O.A.P. Anthony Mirabile scored 2 number one recordings reaching the top of the charts in Australia in 2012 and 2013 on ISON syndicated radio of 275 stations throughout Europe and was a featured performer on the PBS special The Gathering Of The Four Winds, A Day in Native America with 7 time Native America Music Award Winner Jim Boyd
