I started recording a collection of blues tunes in January 2011...and I'm happy to say that I think the tracking is finally done!  It's a fun little bunch of tunes.  Half originals, half covers, all soul.  This project was a little different for me in that I did it live (including vocals) with no metronome.  Old school.  I got some great players in the same room, set up some mics and hit record!  The stuff is swinging and honest.  Some country-blues, some Sun Records sounding stuff, some driving boogie woogie.  I can't wait until it's mixed and mastered so ya'll can hear it!!!
