Summer of 2016

Hello America and World.  I have to say this Summer has been truly inspirational for me.  It started with meeting a fellow rock musician from across the pond.  He is the lead singer for the Rock Band Chrome Molly.  He was visiting Nashville for the first time and we hung out together and are planning some big things in the future with our music. Next, I performed for our Military and Veterans at the Porcupine Bash in Harrison, MI.  It was a huge success.  We were able to collect donations and necessities for our heroes.  I then headed back to Nashville for CMA fest.  The Nashville Universe parties were off the chain.  The party on the top of the Whisky Bent Saloon was the best party I have attended in my 3 trips to CMA fest.  Two Steel Girls, Trailer Choir, Lucas Hoge and the Willis Clan were so amazing.  What a blast.  We met up with Fireball Whisky and got to party with Kellie Pickler and I got to perform for her.  She is such a sweetheart.  We then went back to Michigan for a minute and then headed to NAMM in Nashville a the end of June.  What a great trade show.  We go to see some awesome artist.  I also picked up 2 new endorsements while I was there - Franklin Strap and LOKNOB.  Please check them out.  We then headed back to Michigan for and I performed at 2 festivals. Then it was back to Nashville once again to perform at Nolan's Place in front of Gretchen Wilson, what a rush that was.  She wants me to come back and do another song, so I am thinking about coming back in September.  This past week and weekend, 3 mainstream radio stations in Michigan have my music in rotation.  I could not do this will all of the support of the NU and my fans.   I also got to perform and be a part of another Porcupine Bash in Port Austin Michigan for our Military and Veterans.  Again a huge success.  I have a few days off and then off to do a private event this weekend and yet another Porcupine Bash in September in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Iron Mountain.  Hope to be in Nashville by the end of September to perform for Gretchen Wilson.  Thank you to all of you that support me on this journey and thanks to all who have put in an Nomination for me for the NU awards.  I am nothing without you  - KBK
