Tell us about yourself:
My name is Scott N. Rivers and I am 49 years old. I write about diets, this topic is very important to me since I have been on several diets during my life. It is something I am confident in knowing a lot about. On our website, there are reviews of the most popular diet programs, all the pros and cons of each.

There are so many diets there that it is hard not to be amazed by the wide variety. While some diets may be innovative, protein diets are very well known to all - even those who haven't tried them yet. The truth is that most popular protein diets may not be quite as simple as they appear. While certain women have experienced substantial weight loss from diets, some believe that the low-carb diets are an effective way of losing weight. Who do you trust?

Protein diets, just like many other diets, require some dietary restrictions. The only restriction that can be considered to be reasonable are those that limit the amount of carbohydrates, fats and proteins are reduced in proportion in the diet. If any of the above mentioned groups is eliminated off the menu, then it's not a good idea. Protein diets are a way to ensure that all carbohydrates are eliminated. This includes the healthy complex carbohydrates that are found in durum wheat, potato, pasta grain bread, and other cereals. While at the same time the primary focus of the diet is on the consumption of seafood, and dairy products. The list of prohibited foods includes potatoes durum wheat pasta, durum wheat, and corn bread, as well as numerous sweets, sweet fruit, and berries included in the list of food items that are banned as well as butter, lard, flour products, fast food, all semi-finished and salty or smoked foods. The average person can lose three to five pounds in a week through this plan. But the exact amount depends on your initial weight and your lifestyle.
Remember that protein diets can only be adhered to for a month. It isn't advised to maintain them after the time. Firstly, in case of exceeding the duration of the maximum allowed of adhering to protein diets the body will be able to adjust to a new mode and begin to create the necessary reserves (that is, the weight doesn't just cease to drop, but it could begin to increase) Additionally having a prolonged period of eating protein-based diets could result in a deficit of some essential elements for the body. It is best to limit the period you are on protein diets to a maximum of two weeks. Additionally, it is not recommended that you repeat these more than two times per year.

The diet is not solely designed to shed excess weight and provide your body a stunning form, but also to be a therapeutic exercise or sport. It is also effective only if you follow the rules for use.
