In 1990 I saw The Gate Of Heavenly Peace, documentary by BBC Hongkong. This inspired me to write a blog, and songs followed. June 1989 is a landmark in history - tho an eerie silence followed - not only in China, but world wide. Silence has a place in music, then music breaks that silence. Working on an album "From Silence To A Roar" Come June is the first song to be released. Based on the poetry of Bei Dao about the aftermath of TSquare '89 and conversations with my sweet June in Boomer NC. Rather than giving an opinion my music is an attempt to get into the heart of the matter - I want to FEEL.
