Flynnville Train - "Home" (Nominated for Video of the Year)

Flynnville Train - "Home" -
This song was written about our childhood in rural Indiana. It reminds us of sunshine, summer time and fresh mowed clover. Growin' up on our Grandparents farm make up some of the fondest memories of our lives. As you get a little older you realize that you've taken for granted those simple times. It was a yearning for those times that gave us the inspiration to write it. Musically it's a reflection of our many influences from front porch bluegrass to hard hittin' heavy rock.

This is positively my family's favorite song. We all sing it in the car. My little 5 year old Isaac knows every single word by heart. He can really relate to this song. He spends almost every weekend at his grandparents down in a holler of KY, playing in the woods and old sheds, driving the tractor with Grandpa, helping plant the land and waiting for what ever Grandma is pulling out the oven. Great song. Future generations will hear this an be able to relate.

Growin up in the same town as ya'all, I agree with the memories and things we took for granted and then I  think of all the things that others will miss because even small towns aren't the same anymore... Be well, be safe...

Love this song!! Close your eyes & listen and you can almost picture Little Brian & Brent "playing John Wayne out in the barn"

I loved the "Home" video from the first time I saw it. Not only is it a great rockin' song but to get to watch Flynnville Train perform up close on stage. How many times do you get to see Tommy (the drummer) twirling the drums sticks & rockin' the beat that close - better than front row!
